For the sensitive data that must be stored to track patterns—like your daily journal notes, specific triggers, and expense descriptions—we utilize AES-256-GCM encryption.
This is the same standard used by governments for classified data. Before your journal entry ever touches our database disc, it is mathematically scrambled using a secure key. To any outside observer (or even a database administrator), your personal thoughts look like random static noise. We decrypt them only for the brief millisecond required to display them to you or process an insight, and then they are locked away again.
4. Financial Privacy
